"Whats the frequency Kenneth?" -Michael Stipe, 94

A school careers teacher once gave me a booklet with the uninspiring title of "So You Want To Be An Estate Agent?" In a fit of adolescent pique I wrote across the top "No I don't ,I want to be a radio presenter." The thrashing was worth it , great days.
I CAN CURRENTLY BE HEARD ON ..
Even BBC radio presenters need to take a holiday. When they do, I keeps their seats as warm as my buttocks will allow. Lunchtime, Drivetime, Anytime.
Listen to my Showreel.
Since 2010 I have been putting my unerring sense of direction to good use by acting as Traffic and Travel presenter on the breakfast show.
I was also the "Simon half" of Matt & Simon Sundays 2-4pm
Blazing through Suffolk like a comet, leaving behind a trail of confusion, Matt and Simon spent three years trying to change radio one atom at a time. We climbed Suffolk's highest point (which is about seven inches) Chased oddly shaped clouds in a brightly coloured van, became involved in an argument while digging for fossilized faeces and recreated the 1969 moon landings by prancing about in slow-mo with charity collection buckets on our heads.
This is what we looked like.
Check out our showreel
MATT & SIMON ON YOUTUBEThe week before our final show we decided to give anyone who was remotely interested an "access all areas" backstage glimpse at the sheer hard work that went into creating our unique brand of radio magic. Enjoy
One of our most popular adventures involved going up in a light aircraft, being dropped off at a mystery location and then having to find our way home. This is how it began. Chocks Away!
The emotion packed final link of our last BBC show has been known to reduce grizzled Suffolk lorry drivers to tears. There's no shame in sobbing so grab a tissue and brace yourself.
If you want to keep track of our movements...
I HAVE ALSO BEEN HEARD ON..
ICR 105.7 FM
2000-2008
I co presented the award winning "Urban Sofa Beat Collective" with Mathew Marvell. Laying bare the minutiae of our ten year friendship in a two hour speech based show ,listeners found themselves sucked into our tepid world and then unable to escape. The Urban Sofa was also a very successful podcast with listeners around the world. Visit the complete Urban Sofa Podcast archive here.
I also co presented the Monday morning breakfast show, interviewing guests, dissecting the news and trying to come to grips with my female co presenters love of the band G4.
Oh yeah, and I was the co writer and presenter of a comedy show called "Chimps In Suits"

I have been the voice of music and speech programming for airlines including MyTravel, Airtours, Air France,Deutsche BA and Gulf Air and have worked with presenters such as BBC Radio 2s Pete Mitchell and Absolute Radio's Geoff Lloyd. I used to tell people that my international reach had made me a legendary figure in Oman known only as "Dr Pop" this was however untrue
VIVA 963
1996
I was a regular contributor to the Bob Sinefield Breakfast Show, which only made things sillier.
BBC CWR
1994-95
I was a co presenter on the daily afternoon show which was broadcast from a glass fronted studio in a Coventry shopping arcade. During busy periods it was, "Like when you go to do a car boot sale and all the other stall holders crowd around your car before you can get any of your stuff out"....for three hours!!
I was also was the writer and presenter of my own comedy show which featured the controversial light aircraft based feature "Drop The Pilot."
RADIO HARMONY (KIX 96)
1992-94
As co presenter of the Drivetime show I once had the unenviable task of "talking up" a video about legendary British regiment The Ghurkas as a competition prize. I also co presented Saturday Breakfast and hosted a Sunday afternoon alternative music show, anyone remember The Sultans Of Ping FC?
